What is a hysteroscope examination?

A hysteroscope examination is a tool for the evaluation of the uterine endometrium. This includes a small, flexible microscope to directly visualize the inside lining of the uterus. This allows us to evaluate for fibroids, polyps, and scar tissue. Biopsies can be taken at the same time.
